Rochester John Marshall High School Athletics

Practice starts August 17th

Swimmers will be going:

• 8:30-10:30 T, W, & Th - Before school begins
• 3:20-5:30 M-F and
• 8:00-9:00 Sat (This may vary once school begins due to swimming meets)

Diving will be at JM:

• Practice is split into two "waves" to accommodate divers from all three high schools:
  • Wave 1: 5:15pm-7:00pm
  • Wave 2: 6:45pm-8:30pm

Traditionally, the Swimming & Diving team does not cut and does not require competitive swimming background.  The only requirement for your safety is that you should be able to perform the front crawl for 25 yds. 

The team provides a fine balance of instruction, competition, fun & games, and hard work. Swimmers will get instruction in swimming all four competitive strokes and divers will be given instruction in performing dives from each of the five competitive categories.

For the girls the season begins the middle of August and finishes in the middle of November with Section and State.
