Coaching History: Coach Ohl is in his 18th year coaching several high school sports. This includes: 17 years as an assistant football coach at Dover-Eyota and St. Charles, 14 years as an assistant girls basketball coach at Dover-Eyota, and 4 years as the head girls basketball coach at St. Charles.

Coaching History: Coach Derr is in his 7th year coaching basketball at the middle school and high school levels and has been coaching at John Marshall High School since 2019.
Family: Wife – Lisa (22 years); Son – Aiden (20) sophmore at the University of Minnesota, Daughter – Kiera (18) senior at JM; Son – Owen (15) freshman at JM

Coaching History: Coach Nelson has coached basketball for 6 years including 2 years at the AAU level with So-Minn Fury and Give-N-Go MN.

9th Grade Coach: Trevon Roberts-Sand (trrobertssand@rochesterschools.org)
Coaching History: Coach Roberts-Sand is in his 4th year coaching basketball at the middle school and high school levels, including 1 year as assistant 9th grade coach at Upsala Area Schools (central MN). In addition, Coach Roberts-Sand coached the John Marshall 7th grade football team for the 2023 season.
Family: Girlfriend – Kayla
Interests/Hobbies: Watching most sports, particularly football and basketball; outdoorsman – mostly hunting, fishing and camping

Fun Fact: Coached the team that won the 8th grade pacesetter MIT state basketball championship last summer
Volunteer Assistant Coach: Angie Meister (anmeister52@gmail.com)
Coaching History: Coach Meister has held multiple coaching positions over the years, including Division 1, Junior College, 10 years as Mayo High School Girls Basketball head coach, as well as a youth coach for her children in RCYBA.
Family: Husband – Kurt (24 years); Son – Lincoln - currently playing basketball at the University of Minnesota Duluth; Daughter – Lilly - currently playing basketball at the University of Indiana: Laynie (16) junior at JM
Interests/Hobbies: Watching the kids play sports; travel; baking
Day Job: Sales Trainer and Educational Specialist at Medtronic
Fun Fact: Was part of the biggest turnaround in Division 1 women's basketball history at the University of Evansville. Ranked last in the conference then won the Missouri Valley Conference and went to the NCAA tournament for the first time in school history.
