As we get going on the 2021 season, this news item will be used to track special considerations related to COVID. Most importantly is we want to keep our team, family and friends safe as we navigate the season. So please keep that in mind.

Do not come to practice or come to a game if you are not feeling well: have a fever, have a new cough, have a new muscle aches, or in any way are feeling sick. In those cases please report the illness to the coaches, stay home, and follow guidelines from your family doctor.

Do not come to practice/game if you are awaiting results from a COVID test. Do not come to practice/game if you were exposed to somebody who tested positive for COVID. Again, in those cases please report the situation to your coaches.

When reporting to practice/game, please sanitize your hands and all your personal equipment. At the end of practice/game, please sanitize your hands and all your personal equipment. During practice/game, wear your mask as required and try to maintain distancing as best you can. Do not share water bottles or any personal equipment.

See the document below from MSHSL guidelines around COVID and the softball season. We will follow the required guidelines. Keep in mind this is a living document which will be updated by MSHSL as season goes along:
