Here is a printable calendar of all team activities. This calendar includes meets for middle school, JV, and varsity. It also includes activities such as fundraisers, pictures, and awards. Meets are color coded for each level of competition.

Varsity = Yellow
JV = Teal
Middle School = Pink

Our first conference meet will take place in Winona. Teams participating are Winona, Northfield, and JM. We will be able to bring more athletes than originally planned, due to having an extra bus approved by the district. This bus will be shared by the boys and girls teams.Those traveling to Winona will be notified on Monday.

The Austin Invite takes place on Friday, April 19. This meet is a great opportunity to compete against some teams in our conference, as well as some teams we don't normally compete against. This is a limited entry meet. More information will be posted when it is received.

Unlike other sports, track and field relies on volunteers to help with home track meets. No experience is required, just a willingness to help. Most positons simply supervise workers and record event performances. We are flexible with placement so you can watch your Rocket compete in person. We will meet as a group before the meet to see where everyone would like to help.

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!

As we come back from spring break, it's time to kick-off our second fundraiser. This fundraiser, we will be working with Ye Olde Butcher Shoppe. We have worked with Ye Olde Butcher Shoppe for several years and look forward to another great experience.

For seven days, our team will offer various items from Ye Olde Butcher Shoppe to family, friends, neighbors, and anyone else interested in helping our program. Bundles and individual items are of interest to anyone who shops for food. 

In the past, items sold were delivered by our team. This year, Ye Olde Butcher Shoppe has offered to have orders picked-up at their store, making it much easier for our team and supporters of our team.

Instructions for the fundraiser will be given at our team meeting on Monday, April 8. Those selling four or more packages qualify for a free dinner to our catered awards banquet at the end of the season.

Last year we began a new tradition of celebrating our seniors by offering individual and group pictures. These are high qualaity photos taken by Ann Eldredge, Tangible Moments Photography. Seniors who ordered pictures last year were extremely happy with them. See the order form below.

Our team and individual pictures for all underclassmen will be Saturday, April 13th at 9am in the JM gymnasium take by Ann Eldredge as well!

TerraLoco is a local shoe store in town that offers 20% off to JM high school athletes. Just mention that you are an athlete for the John Marshall track & field team when checking out. 

We also have a close relationship with the Rochester Running Club in town and they will be doing a shoe and clothing drive this spring for our athletes. If you are in need of new (to you) shoes, but can't afford them right now, please talk to Coach Dakota. 

Please be aware that meets marked in blue have qualification standards that must be met. Participants will be notified in advance if they will compete in these meets. 

The middle school schedule is currently tentative, with meets needing confirmation and approval from the host school. Meets can still be added or deleted. We are working on finalizing the middle school schedule soon.
