All-City Meet 2019

2020 BULLETIN BOARD

AUSTIN MEET INFORMATION
The meet in Austin will be Tuesday, September 29 at 5:00 p.m.  The meet will take place at Mower County Fairgrounds.

BIG 9 CONFERENCE MEET
The date for this meet has changed to Friday, October 9 at 2:45 p.m..  Bus time is 12:30.  This is a varsity only race.

SECTION IAA MEET
The date for this meet has moved to Thursday, October 15 at 9:00 a.m..  This is a varsity meet only.

JV INTERSQUAD MEET
The season for JV will not end in Austin.  We have decided to hold our own meet for those who will not be competing in the Section 1AA meet.  More information coming soon.

  • WHEN:  Tuesday, September 29
  • WHERE:  Mower County Fairgrounds, Austin
  • If you will NOT be riding the bus to or from the meet, be sure to complete the Travel Release Form (upper left corner) by Monday and give to Coach Sonnabend.
  • Varsity 5:00 p.m.
    JV 5:30 p.m.
    Middle School 5:30 p.m. (last wave of JV)

Attendance Q&A:                                          

Q:  When should I call the attendance office to excuse my student’s absence?   
A
:  If a student will miss his or her distance learning class due to illness, appointment, travel, etc., please contact the JM Attendance Line at 507-328-5410.  Arrangements can still be made with teachers for asynchronous (recorded) learning, but our attendance office should also be contacted.

Q:  What should I do if my student was marked absent but he or she was in class?       
A:  Please have your student contact his or her teacher(s) first via email to communicate any errors in classroom attendance.   

Q:  What should my student do if he or she was absent from a class?              
A:  Students have 24 hours to check in and/or complete their work for classes using asynchronous (recorded) instruction.  Once they have checked in and/or their work is completed, students should contact their teachers to correct their attendance.  




COVID-19 DAILY CHECK-IN

Please complete the linked COVID-19 self assessment form at least two hours before a practice or meet.  Use your school email address when filling out the information.  Contact Coach Sonnabend if you have any questions.

PASTA FEED SIGN-UP

 







A Pasta Feed is a team gathering held the day before our meets.  Each pasta feed is sponsored by a group of parents and held at one of their homes.  These events are a great way for teammates to socialize in a setting away from practice and also for parents to meet the team up close.  If you would like to host or help with a pasta feed, please sign-up via the link below.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact Coach Sonnabend or Coach Feda through the Coaches page.
