Unlike other sports, track and field relies on volunteers to help with home track meets. No experience is required, just a willingness to help. Most positons simply supervise workers and record event performances. We are flexible with placement so you can watch your Rocket compete in person. We will meet as a group before the meet to see where everyone would like to help.
We are beginning to finalize plans for our home meets. To make our meets a great experience, we need your help.
Volunteers needed for the following meets:
Tuesday, April 30 (Varsity / JV) - MS wiill be in Pine Island
Friday, May 3 (JV / MS)
Monday, May 13 (V / JV / MS)

Our annual service project of helping the Special Olympics regional track and field meet takes place on Sunday, May 12. We have helped the Special Olympics for several years and enjoy the experience. All team members are required to participate in one service project and this is a great one. If you are interested in helping with this event, please sign-up using the link below. Sign-up early, because they fill up quickly.
Another great opportunity for a service project is coming up soon. For several years, our distance runners have helped lead runners at the Med City Kids Marathon. This year's event will take place on Saturday, May 18. This is always a fun experience as we lead different grade groups though a one-mile course and finish at the official marathon finish line. Although this is usually championed by our distance runners, anyone can participate. If you are interested in helping with this event, please contact Coach Hiller or Coach Sonnabend.
