Athletic Training Room Hours

Monday- Friday 2:30-6:30pm If I am not in the Athletic Training Room, I am at a practice or a game.

Baseline Concussion Testing 2024-25

Baseline Concussion Testing for Century/JM girls hockey players will be at Century HS in the Athletic Training Room on October 21st at 5:30pm.

Baseline Concussion Testing for Century/JM boys hockey players AND Wrestlers will be at the John Marshall Cafeteria on November 4th at 6:00pm.

New baseline testing is required once per school year. If players have a baseline on file for the 2024-2025 school year, they do not need to baseline test again. Please email Ashley Harding, the JM Athletic Trainer (harding.ashley@mayo.edu), to confirm whether you have testing on file if you're not sure.

There will be two parts to this test, one on their phone and the other on the computer with one of our testers.

  • Please have the athletes download the Sway Medical app on their phone prior to the testing date and have their phone fully charged for test day. They do not need to do anything with the SWAY app besides downloading it. More instructions for this portion will be given to athletes at the time of testing.

  • Please have the athlete fill out the attached demographic information link & code provided below prior to test day.

  • Please plan for at least an hour once you begin testing

Redcap link for survey: https://redcap2.mayo.edu/redcap/surveys/?s=E7TLJK3W7C48JAPW

If the SWAY portion of this test is not up to standard, portions of it will need to be retaken at a later date.

If you are unable to attend baseline concussion testing, please contact me to set up another time to test. If you have already had testing done for football or soccer this fall, you do not need to test again. Feel free to contact me by email with any questions!

Thank you,

Ashley Harding, MS, LAT, ATC
