Unlike other sports, track and field relies on volunteers to help with home track meets. No experience is required, just a willingness to help. Most positons simply supervise workers and record event performances. We are flexible with placement so you can watch your Rocket compete in person. We will meet as a group before the meet to see where everyone would like to help.
Volunteers needed for the following meets:
Thusday, April 30 (Varsity / JV) - MS will be in Pine Island
Friday, May 3 (JV / MS)
Monday, May 13 (V / JV / MS)

This organization is in it's infancy stage, so our first meeting will simply be brainstorming what the booster club will look like. If you have experience in something like this, would like to share your thoughts, or just want to listen, we would love to meet you.

Our annual service project of helping the Special Olympics regional track and field meet takes place on Sunday, May 12. We have helped the Special Olympics for several years and enjoy the experience. TerraLoco is a local shoe store in town that offers 20% off to JM high school athletes. Just mention that you are an athlete for the John Marshall track & field team when checking out.
We also have a close relationship with the Rochester Running Club in town and they will be doing a shoe and clothing drive this spring for our athletes. If you are in need of new (to you) shoes, but can't afford them right now, please talk to Coach Dakota.
Please be aware that meets marked in blue have qualification standards that must be met. Participants will be notified in advance if they will compete in these meets.
