UPDATE - Summer Camp information due to Covid 19

The plan was to have a 2 week camp starting June 8th. Considering the governor issued guidelines we needed to follow for camp (only have 10 people together and must be 6 feet a part), we would not have had a very good camp if we kept it as originally scheduled.

Fortunately, the MSHSL has changed the summer football contact rules and we can now have camp up until August 7th.  Therefore, the June camp has been tentatively rescheduled for July 27th - August 7th.  Depending on what the schools and government allows, however, we are NOT guaranteed that we will even be able to do that. (Equipment handout will follow camp on July 27th.)

The best I can do is say, "Believe" and take care.

Coach Kevin Kirkeby

JM Football Program Notes

Athletes are reminded to listen carefully at each team time for scheduled changes. Keep an eye on the web calendars as schedules can change quickly.

All schedules are tentative and can quickly change based on weather and other conflicts. Always bring t-shirt, shorts and gym shoes in case we have to move inside.

Posted 'practice' or 'team times' were expanded to better reflect when athletes are more likely to be available for pickup, carpools and work. 'Practice' or 'team time' is not just field time. It may also include classroom time, film time, coaches/team talk & wrap-up, trainer talks, picking up and putting away equipment, equipment handout and repair, etc. Weather delays can also extend times beyond those posted.  Actual field and contact time is limited per MSHSL rules and is a subset of our posted team times.

Rocket Gear is to be worn at all team times - shirt & shorts in Rocket colors: red, black, white or grey that are either plain or have a JM Football or other JM logo. Cleats should be black and long sleeve shirts must be black.

Email or text with ALL absences.  The respective head coach will then be notified.

If a student-athlete is not going to take the school transportation a Travel Release Form must be completed 48 hours prior to departure. The completed form must be turned into the JM Activities Office and cannot be given to the coach at the event.

We have many opportunities for Rocket Fans & Family to volunteer or donate to the JM Football program.  Please check out the many opportunities at  Thank you for your continued support!
